After Care Instructions:
Avoid touching the treated area: To prevent the spread of bacteria and ensure proper
healing, avoid touching, rubbing or applying makeup to the treated area for at least 4 hours
after the procedure.
Stay upright: For the first four hours after your treatment, it’s recommended to remain in an
upright position and avoid lying down. This helps to prevent the migration of the treatment
to unintended areas.
Avoid strenuous activities: Refrain from engaging in strenuous exercise, heavy lifting, or
activities that cause excessive sweating for the first 4 hours. Sweating can potentially spread
the treatment to adjacent muscles.
Avoid facial treatments: Steer clear of facials, chemical peels, microdermabrasion, or any
other facial treatments for at least one week after your treatment. These additional facial treatments may increase the risk of complications or interfere with the results.
Use ice packs (if advised): If your Nurse recommends it, you can apply ice packs wrapped in
a cloth to the treated area. This can help reduce swelling and alleviate any discomfort.
However, be sure not to apply excessive pressure or ice directly on the skin.
Refrain from alcohol: Avoid alcohol for at least 4 hours after the procedure. Alcohol
consumption can increase the risk of spread of the treatment.
Be patient: The full effects of the treatment can take several days to appear. It’s essential to
be patient and wait for the results to take effect which can take two weeks.
Follow-up appointment: If your Nurse provider has scheduled a follow-up appointment,
make sure to attend it. This allows her/him to assess the results and address any concerns or
questions you may have.
